Hi. I'm Amanda
With a focus on creative direction, photography & travel, this site is the place I share my photography projects, adventures, travel tips & inspiration. My goal is to encourage and inspire people to get involved in that creative project they've been thinking about for the longest time or drop whatever they are doing & take the vacation they’ve always been dreaming of.
As a Creative Director and Professional Photographer by day, photography has always been my passion. I have worked in the fashion and e-commerce industry for the past 13 years and continue to photograph for major brands. You can view my professional fashion work here. I haven't quit my day job yet because I still love it too much!
For Photographers & Creatives:
For the past 13 years, I have worked extensively within both in-studio and lifestyle photography. I have experience working with a freelance client base and online retail giants to provide creative solutions and imagery. While I love to create images, my passion is creative project management and to find solutions that ultimately take creative to a new level.
I have experience leading and inspiring a creative team - I believe the most important aspects of leadership is to lead with respect & empathy. I want to work with teams who respect each others’ ideas & contributions. There is nothing I love more than brainstorming with a talented group of creatives and watching our ideas come to fruition.
In my spare time, I love to play with alternative photography processes and I'm a vintage camera nut (and so proud of my collection!) I’m almost always wearing plaid & carry a book with me everywhere I go. I’m inevitably dreaming of a new place to discover and can feel at home just about anywhere in the world as long as my favorite people are with me.

Why Travel?
I believe travel is a powerful tool - it teaches us compassion and understanding - there is nothing greater than the power of empathy & love for those around us. I encourage you to be curious about and explore those places youʼd never thought you would visit, learn about the people and experience something new with each trip. I hope this site gives you a hefty dose of wanderlust and inspiration.
My favorite travel buddy is my amazing husband, Alex (you'll see him around here a lot) and when we aren't traveling, we are at home in Las Vegas with our furbabies - our dog, Optimus Prime & kitty, Biggie Smalls.
